Warranty policy
(This is a translated text and the swedish version is the one that we go by).
1. Warranty general
We at KOOKI seek to provide a high customer experience.We offer full warranty on the bikes we have fixed - e.g. new, demo and used bikes. (DIY and wholesale are categories for you who easily wants to find a bike to fix yourself). We are selling a couple thousand bikes a year and over 99% of them are good. However, sometimes we miss something and than we take full mechanical responsibility for it.

2. The warranty covers:
- Our fault: When the bike is delivered make sure it is complete. If there is something that we have missed it will show up straight away. And than you are covered by the warranty.
- Our facility: All warranties are fixed at our facilities. We do not cover any transport but we are very willing to fix a problem that is on us, at our facilities.
3. The warranty does NOT cover:
- Punctures: The warranty does not cover punctures unless it is a DOA (dead on arrival). So make sure to check that at deiivery.
- Wear and tear: The warranty does not cover wear and tear on bicycle parts such as tires, brakes, drive train and more.
- External impact: Damages due to use, aggresive use or accidents are not covered. External impacts such as weather chemicals and more are not covered.
- Better parts: the bike is priced compared to its condition. Upgrading parts is possible at an additional cost.
- Other costs: We do not cover costs if you have gone to another workshop or store. We do not cover transport costs nor lost income, nor any other costs.
4. Warranty repairs
It there is a problem covered by the warranty, please contact us straight away. When you have brought the bike to us we will inspect it. Warranty errands have a fast track line but it needs to be turned in to be picked up at a later moment. If parts are needed they are added for free but not the work.
The warranty is only good for the original buyer and can not be handed over to the next owner.
5. Så här gör du ett garantikrav
- Kontakta oss via e-post med en beskrivning av problemet och skriv ditt kvittonummer.
- Ta med cykeln till vår butik för en inspektion.
- Om felet omfattas av garantin, kommer vi att påbörja reparationen eller utbytet av den defekta delen.
6. Sammanfattning
Om cykeln fungerar dåligt för att vi har missat något tar vi ansvar för det. Om du som kund har orsakat fel på cykel så täcks det inte av garantin.
